[CLOSED] Writing a Novel in 12 Easy Steps with Ann Brady

September Short Course

We often hear new writers saying ‘how they have a brilliant idea for a novel, BUT, they aren’t sure how to go about starting the writing process.’ This is nothing new. Because of these comments, award-winning author and Writers Mentor Ann Brady, has created this simple workshop of How to Write a Novel in 12 Easy Steps. It is aimed at helping aspiring and developing writers understand that the writing process isn’t always that hard conqueror. It is also geared to aid those whose first language isn’t English.

Over the years Ann has worked with writers, at all levels and ages in multiple genres across the world, so she has an extensive understanding of what is needed in starting a writing career. Through the workshop, Ann will guide writers in learning how they can take an initial idea forward into writing that first draft manuscript. She does this through a few practical, innovative, and easy steps.

You will be gently led through the writing process, being offered tips, suggestions, podcast links, and other unique insights into how to start your writing process. The Workshop is run at a leisurely pace with support through email reviews of the work you carry out, and in our weekly Zoom meetings. We think you will find it fun and informative. Each participant will also receive copies of the course to download and keep, additional material as support, plus a review report of your completed coursework.

This workshop includes:

  • Describing your story idea
  • Expanding your initial Idea
  • Creating the plot
  • Bringing your characters to life
  • Starting your novel
  • Edit and re-draft
  • And more...
